A million ideas, a boring office job, a couple friends, and all out obsession and love for the outdoors sparked Yellow Hat Outdoors in May of 2021. We were fresh off of a pandemic and in that part of the year where you have recovered from hunting season and are fishing and dreaming until next fall to do it all over again. We are three friends who have been hunting and fishing since we can remember. We’ve burned a lot of miles in the truck, met up at the gas station before dawn countless times, and lost more lures than we’d care to share. 

I was told growing up the place where you are meant to live and work is where your greatest passions and God’s greatest desires for this world overlap. For me, that means taking care of, exploring, and appreciating creation. Yellow Hat is my way of fulfilling that goal.

My dream is to introduce people to my favorite activities and to equip them to appreciate their experience to the maximum. I want to ignite people and share my joy for the outdoors with them. 

Yellow Hat Outdoors is our way to connect you with the stories of being outside. To make you feel the excitement of seeing that hit list buck step out, to hear the sound of a campfire crackling underneath an unimaginable number of stars, and to the early morning excitement beating the wake up call of a 3 A.M. alarm.
