Fishy Christmas List
The holiday season can be tough. We all know people that love activities we know nothing about. I have been asked by multiple people, “what can I get ? They LOVE to fish!” This got us thinking…. We should make a list of all our favorite fishing goodies and share it with everyone so they can know what to get that fisherman they know and love! We have attached links below with a short description of the items. If you use our links to buy a product they help us out! This list is by no means comprehensive but provides some good options to get a brand new OR seasoned veteran some good fishing items!
Baitcasters
For the advanced fishermen or those that want to do it right in the fishing game, here are our bait caster options. Baitcasters are smoother and more precise but can be frustrating to learn.
Favorite Baitcaster Rod - Falcon Buccoo rods are the best bang for your buck. They are priced great, they are sensitive, and an all-around great product. They are our favorite rods to use!

Favorite Baitcaster Reel - Lew’s tournament series reels are our favorite reel. They are a premium option that brings along premium performance! They are as smooth as reels get and tough as nails. Make sure to select the correct orientation (left/right-handed)!

Spinning Rods
For beginning fishermen, we recommend a spinning combo. Combination buys like this provide an excellent value while still bringing great performance to the table. They are a great way to bring new fishermen into the realm. We have listed 2 options at different price points.
Lures
Now that we made it through big-ticket items, we have a lot of different lures and accessories that make an amazing gift for any fisherman no matter how many lures they have, I challenge you to ask yourself… what's a few more?
Senko - A personal favorite for my friends, the senko is one of the best baits of all time. Fished any way, it simply produces fish.
War Eagle Spinnerbait - War Eagle Spinnerbaits are the best spinnerbaits on the market. They run true at any speed, they are tough and hold up to all sorts of use and abuse. I don’t waste money on any other kind.
Square Bill Crankbait - Square bills are a staple in any bass fisherman’s tackle box. These lures are among the most versatile lures in a box and are ultra-reliable to just flat-out catch fish.
Plastic Craw - Plastic craws are always dependable. In shallow water, these craws will get it done. This pack is cheap and sure to catch some fish.
Gamakatsu Hooks - These hooks are a must-have for any bass fisherman. They are razor-sharp and are sure to stick a fish or a log if that’s what you set the hook on!
Weights - If you buy hooks you need weights. These are great for texas rigs and come in a big pack.
Frog - A frog is one of the most fun lures to use for any bass fisherman. Can’t go wrong with the Booyah!
Other important Items
Line - We recommend sticking with 12-pound fluorocarbon for most applications. This is my go-to!
Pliers - Every fisherman needs a good set of pliers. Never know when you need them!
Tackle Box - If your favorite fisherman doesn't have a tackle box, here is a great option for them to store all their new goodies in!
